Calling all crafters…our supply is running low, please share your talents at shawl-making…we supply the wool!!

As of January 2024: over 910 Prayer Shawls have been given out.

Just a reminder that the Prayer Shawl Ministry is still at work. So if you have a request you can call NUC. During this time we will bless the shawl with some of the prayer shawl committee and get it to you.  

We have a group who knit, crochet or loom shawls to give to folks who are ill, in personal crisis, suffering a loss or celebrating a joyous event.

These shawls are blessed with our church community and delivered to the person with the hope that it will offer support and comfort or celebrate that particular joy..

Each shawl is a gift of love as we all need support at one time or another in our lives.
