so that original beings could serve themselves.

Thank you for the 4 directions that go by,
Miigwetch wesiinyag gii-miizhiyang wii-wiisiniyang,
thank you for the animals so that we can eat,
Miigwetch bineshiinyag noodoonogwaa nagamwaad,
thank you for the birds that we hear them sing,
Miigwetch nbi biinaakizigoyang,
thank you for the water to cleanse our bodies,
Miigwetch gii-miizhiyang nokiiwin!
and thank you for the work you gave us!
